Splashy!!

Today I discovered the water hose!
It was such a blast! Daisy and Mommy even got in the pool with me today! I love the water it is so much fun to splash Mommy, Daisy, myself, and everything within a good radius of the pool! Mommy thanked me for watering her herb garden.

We Caught One!

Daddy and I caught a Fish together! It was so squirmy and squishy! It was sooooo much fun to see it flop all around. Daddy said I was good luck because he only caught fish when I was down there helping him fish.

On a Mission

Daddy caught me red handed as I was trying to sneak away from Mommy and reach the mountain dirt at the end of the ramp to the deck of our cabin in Colorado. I almost made it!

Lake

Me and Mommy had so much fun at the lake. We walked all around looking at the different plants and all the little animals. There were always chipmunks scurrying around everywhere we went. One day we even saw and Eagle. We also caught grasshoppers for me and Daddy to use to catch fish with. This is a picture of us next to the lake outside our cabin.

It was serious business fishing. I had to be real quiet and sit still so I did not scare the fish away.

Sunset in the Mountains

After our long hike we returned to our cabin on the lake for some S'mores and a beautiful sunset to my first camping trip.

Mountain Dirt

On the way down from the top of the Mountain we stopped for a picnic. Daddy let me play in the Mountain Dirt! He said it is cleaner than regular dirt. I had the time of my life! I learned that dirt is fun stuff!

On the Mountain Top

We finally made it! It was a long hike and I took a nap up at the top of the mountain next to Ruby Lake. It was hard work climbing that mountain, but I did it!

On our Mountain hike we found a fresh mountain stream waterfall! Mom wouldn't let me splash in it because the water was like ice, but it was fun to take a break next to.

Hiking in the Colorado Rockies!

This is Me and Mommy hiking 8 miles on the Ruby lake trail in the Colorado State Forest State Park! It was so much fun! I played with my toys and talked to Mommy & Daddy the entire time. It was a cool ride with lots of stuff to see! We saw chipmunks, Eagles, deer, a fox, some wierd animal Mommy and Daddy didn't know what it was, and while we were driving a moose!

Just My Size

Grandma Dot and Grandpa Benny got me this great bench that is the perfect size for ME! It is in the perfect spot in Dot's garden for relaxin' and petting the puppies and kitties. I love it!

Mommy loves to take pictures of me when I am sleeping. She says I look like a little angel.

I am seven months old and trying all kinds of new food! I am not too picky. I love applesauce and cheerios, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, pears, dog bones, dog food, grass, and just about anything I find on the floor (Mommy screams when I try to experiment on new foods myself :))

Me and my Mommy hangin' around in the vineyard! We had so much fun on our fourth of July trip to Missouri. It was filled with many new experiences!

Here my Daddy is giving me my first taste of chocolate at a chocolate factory in Illinois. We took a whole tour, and got to see, behind the scene, how they make chocolate!

I love to play with my Grandpa Grider! Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays now since we get to do all kinds of new thins in Missouri!

I was 5 months old and scooting around like a walrus! Not really crawling yet. Since then I have found a much more efficient mode of transportation (crawling) and I am working on an even better one (walking).

These are pictures with me and my Grandma and Grandpa Grider when I was about 1 month old! They came all of the way from Missouri to see me. We had lots of fun together!

This is me the day mommy and daddy took me home! I was really little then. Mommy says I was 8 lbs. 12.4 oz. when I was born and only 20 3/4 in. long!

This is me and my mommy the day after I was born in our hospital room. I took lots of naps then :) Mommy says that I was so sweet and well behaved that she decided that I must be a very special gift sent down from heaven.

7 Months

Hey Everyone! I finally have a blog of my own! I am 7 months old now and growing, growing, growing!! I am crawling all over the house chasing Daisy. I love to read books, and play with blocks and everything momma does not want me in :) I love to eat applesauce and Cheerios, but I'm not too picky dog food and grass and just about anything on the floor works good too. I love to splash in my baby pool and play outside! My favorite thing to do is go for a bike ride with mom and dad to Sheridan's where they give me my own ice cream cone! I love the summer we have had so much fun! Now that I finally have my own blog I will try to keep everyone updated on all the new things that are happening! I love you guys!
